MKM & GBX is a breakbeat project based in two guys, Marcus and Glauber aka MkM and GBX; they are pioneers producers in Brazilian Breaks (techy, booty, tear out) scene, they reached top players with releases at big labels like Cut & Run, Unstable, Trans:verse, Guerrilla Tactics, Westway, Digital Records and got forthcomming works on labels like I-Breaks and the big MOFO recs. Their productions and their vibey breakbeat sets made them the hottest thing ever to come on Brazilian Breaks scene. Nowadays they are working with the legendary rapper from brazil XIS MC in a tune called "QUALQUIEH" and its forthcomming on the UK booty label MOFO recs. They made the big dance floor hit BLUR - SONG 2 (MKM & GBX REMIX) released .. & run label since 2006 and it stills hitting the dancefloors and festivals over the world, this month they released a new big tune .. & run, the remix of Prodigy - funky shit that had sold out in one week at one of biggest webstores over the world "chemical records" (chemical-reords.co.uk). They are supported by Freestylers, Pendulum, Annie Nightingale (BBC), Myles Disson, Hardy Hard, Carl Loben (DJ Mag), Jay Cunning (Kiss FM), Ed209, Ctrl Z,ScrewFace, Breakfastaz, Baitercell and Schumacker, NAPT, ,Far Too Loud, Mars and many others...
May 2008 They went to the first European Tour to play in the biggest tear out breaks festival in Spain, called Bass pressure (6), MKM & GBX also went to czech republic and bulgaria; This month they are in DJ MAG Brazil and getting ready to the second European tour 3 months after the first one; 16th Agust MKM & GBX got another big festival to play in Spain with big names like Noisia and the beatport top1 guys NAPT. The Sound of MKM & GBX is actually based in booty, techy and electro breaks with some electro and tech house influences.
